It's a little known fact that when Canadian songstress Alanis Morissette sang "It's like ten thousand spoons, when all you need is a knife", she was using poetic licence to express her frustration at being told by her friends about that amazing gig they're all going to the day AFTER the tickets had already sold out.

Now, despite that initial setback in what turned out to be a whole host of unfortunate events for the lass, it wasn't all bad because she started a multi-platinum selling career from the incident... but what about the rest of us?
